I've quit smoking.?

I quit smoking yesterday morning. Things are going good but I'm incredibly irratable and moody. Any suggestions? Does this go away or is it something I need to learn to deal with? Please help!!
Answer:
carrots carrots carrots. They are Fanatstic for kicking the habit. Plus they are a negative calorie food so you won't gain weight if you munch them all day. Look up other negative calorie foods you can munch to keep yourself preoccupied. This worked for me like a charm but everyone is different
.ive stopped for a year now ,first its great that you quit ,congrats try to keep your hands busy .this feeling will go away stay Strong best of luck to you
good 4 u
saying iv never smoked i cant help much srry
It will get better AFTER you are over the physical withdrawal and will go completely away after you are done with the mental/emotional withdrawal.
try drinking more water, the nicotine in your body is still urging you to smoke again. Water helps flush the nicotine out. it should rid of the irritations and abrupt mood changes
First of all, congratulations on quitting! You're going through nicotine withdrawal----yes, the irritability does eventually go away. The key thing, though, is that you learn a new way to manage feelings of irritation. Even after the nicotine is out of you system, you will still get stressed out sometimes. You need to develop healthier coping skills if you want to stay off the cigarettes
You need to deal with it. Niccotine is what got you addicted. Now that you've quite, your body is just screaming for more niccotine. Try using niccotine gum or any ohter product like that.
I dont know how you did it but good for you??wish I could but ive been smoking now for 30 odd yrs and it aint easy to give up.The thing is I dont even enjoy it anymore.Liz.
this is completely predictable , everybody who quit smoking may experience irritability , drowsiness , increased appetite , ...
this symptoms last up to 7-10 days.and after 1 month you are physically free from nicotine ...congratulation.
