Ive been lifting weights and now my knees are aching why?

Answer:
Uh - because you have been lifting weights. You put a demand on your muscle's when you lift heavy things.
either your trying to lift too much or you have artheritis
too much weight, or you're not using the proper technique?
1) You're lifting weights that are too heavy for you to handle. This is placing a lot of stress on your knees. If you don't reduce the weights your knees will develop a whole host of problems that could last you a lifetime. 2) You are using the wrong technique. Get a trainer to advise you. Wrong technique will not train up the body part you intend and will instead cause injury.
You should try waiting several days between lifting with your lower body. Talk to a trainer or doctor to get a good workout routine.
for one how old are you? if you are ages 12-17- it's your natural body growth. As u grow, your putting more and more pressure on your knees. On top of that, now your lifting wieghts. If your squating or leg pressing that's bad for the knees. If you knees hurt, I'd recomend stop leg wieght lifting. There are other ways to stregnthen your legs other than lifts such as running, jumping, and biking.
*Remeber- if your leg lifting, your trying to make your legs stronger. By hurting theg them, your probably making them weaker.
