I've developed a lump on my outer fore arm, on the tendion. it burns. work mates say its RSI. any advice pleas

help... im really worried
Answer:
from your brief description the swelling most likely is a ganglion. this is a cystic growth from the tendons due to overworking usualy affecting people with occupations of typist, teachers etc.those who use a lot of wrist joint. its a benign swelling and usually doesnt cause any symptoms, but usually it can be excised for cosmetic purposes, though it has a high recurrence rate. it sometimes presents as bilateral (on both wrists). i as a doctor wouldnt worry if its just a ganglion. i can live with it. but i still advice a medical advice as i personally hasnt seen the swelling.online advice is based on your explanation not clinical examination therefore is variable.
