I've been up early today to work on an assignment and will need to do the same over the next couple of days

BUT I can't seem to feel awake! My eyes are feeling soo sleepy even though I've been up a couple of hours and I feel like falling asleep on my desk. Tea and coffee doesn't always help. Any tips on getting my brain into gear early in the morning?
Answer:
Huh?
the pic shows a womanwoman, brain not in gear, everything seems normal there.

Since you seem to have already started growing a tolerance to tea and coffee, the only other alternative route you have to look into is aural stimulation.
You need to blast your ears with any and every sound you possibly can without disturbing anyone else.
What I usually do when I have to pull an all-nighter or whatever is grab my iPod, headphones, and rape my ears with randomized tunes and lyrics.
If you manage to start slipping into further comatose states of mind, you can always use the physical stimulation as a quick fix.
Pinches, slaps, and self-mutilation work very well.
Only one sure-fire remedy - Go to bed earlier!
shoot yourself so you can get some rest. just kidding.
Hey, join the club. im workin on a 3000 word essay right now, due on monday, iv still got 1000 to go. wat u need is a really cold shower, forget the tea an coffee but if that dont wake u up or keep u awake then i don't know wat will.
Good luck on ur assingment.
First up you need to make sure that you are getting all your B vitamins which are soooo essential to clear thinking, energy and vigour, clarity of thoughts and level thinking. Fatigue and exhaustion are two of the signs of B12 deficiency.Other symptoms you may be suffering from are depression, dizzy spells, irritability, moodiness, inability to concentrate, headaches and migraines, nausea and vomiting, numbness and tingling and prickling sensations in the outer extremities, insomnia and constipation and even chest pains and heart palpitations!! Not really nice, hey??These symptoms are really scary and frazzling if you are unaware of the simple fact that you really need to pay attention to you B vitamin intake on a daily basis. If you follow my advice your symptoms will disappear quite rapidly - within the hour or so!! You need to eat more foods rich in this vitamin:yeast liver, eggs, milk, cheese and fish, kidney and pork.If you are a vegetarian and have excluded eggs and dairy products from your diet you really really need to get vitamin tablets.to ensure not only your vitality and good health but your sanity and peace of mind!!B12 is part of the B complex group of vitamins - B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12. Dont buy the B vitamins individually as they work best as a group. The B group of vitamins is a water soluble group and therefore we need to replace it in our bodies on a daily basis. The human body can neither produce or store them. So, as you've been under extra stress lately, you must be totally exhausted!! When we are in stressfull situations the body will naturally use up more of these vitamins!!Go get yourself some really good quality multi B vitamins from the chemist. They are usually labelled Mega B complex or Executive Stress B tablets. Just ask the pharmacist to recommend a good quality brand. Expect to pay around $30.00AUD for 125 tablets. Don;t buy the really cheap vitamins as they usually synthetic and notoriously hard to digest.I have 3 school age children at home and honestly, each time one is too tired to do anything, has a headache, tummy ache, feels sick etc. you can bet they've been ditching their lunch and buying rubbish from the tuck shop!! I know its really easy to grab what's handy when you're rushed but unless you try to be nicer to your body you won't feel too good very often. Go on!! Go get some vitamins or milk and dairy products into you girl!! ... GOOD HEALTH 2 UCHEERS
鈾?
go for a walk in fresh cool morning air, and have a cold glass of water / juice / pop.
